What are RSS Feeds?
RSS feeds are a way for websites to share details of frequently updated content such as news items. Instead of having to visit all your favourite sites to see if they have been updated the feed brings that information to you. You can subscribe or unsubscribe from a feed at any time, making them a quick and convenient way of getting the information you need.
What do I need to use them?
There are three ways to access feeds:
- Your web browser may be able to understand them.
- You can download a feed reader program, either as a plugin to your web browser or as a standalone application:
