If I pay by credit/debit card can you deliver to my work?

It is possible to ship to an address other than on your credit card statement, You can pay by bank transfer or you can contact your credit card company and request them to register an additional or temporary address. For more details please contact our sales team on 0800 002 9000.

Do the goods you supply include warranty?

All products are supplied with a minimum of 12 months manufactures warranty. For details of the warranty that is supplied with each product range please contact our dedicated sales team on 0800 002 9000 who will be able to advise you of the standard warranty's and available upgrades.

How can I pay for my goods?

You can pay for your purchase by cheque or postal order, and all major credit cards. We only accept payment by Credit Card if the card is registered in the UK and we are delivering to the same UK address. There is a surcharge of 1.5% for credit cards but there is no surcharge for Switch, Visa Delta Debit cards or if you pay by Bank Transfer. Please note we do not accept cheques paid directly into our Bank Account, all cheques must be posted to: Laptop Sales (UK) Ltd, Greenfield House, East Street, Lindley, Huddersfield, West Yorkshire, HD3 3ND with an order reference. Cheques that are paid directly into the bank will be rejected.

What if I can't see the item I want on the site?

Simply ask us, either by sending an email or telephoning our sales team, and we'll do what we can to get the item in stock for you.

What if I live outside the UK?

We're happy to deliver to addresses outside the UK and use only the leading courier companies to get your purchases to you safely and as quickly as possible. Payment would have to be made by Bank Transfer (telephone or Internet banking) and in most cases, you will have your product within 5 - 7 days on clearance of your payment.

What should I do if I have a complaint?

Can I claim the VAT back as I am on holiday in the UK?

Sorry we are not part of the retail export scheme, as we do not have a retail outlet, and are mail order/internet sales only. It wouldn't be possible to claim the VAT back. Please find the extract from the VAT retail exports HMCE Reference: Notice 704 (November 2004)

2.8 Can the scheme be used for sales by mail order or goods sold over the Internet?

No. Goods sold to entitled persons by mail order or over the Internet will fall within the export rules set out in Notice 703 Export of goods from the United Kingdom. However, a mail order company or an Internet retailer with a retail outlet can use the scheme for goods sold from that outlet provided they comply with all the conditions set out in this notice."
