Multimedia appeal for Toshiba laptop
Toshiba laptop buyers may be interested to learn that the latest member of the Qosmio family has hit the shops.
The Toshiba Qosmio X500-10X is designed for multimedia fans so you'll find a Blu-ray drive, nVidia GeForce GTS 250M graphics card and 1GB of dedicated video memory, reports What Laptop.
For more general computing tasks, an Intel Core i7 processor and huge 4GB of RAM should enable you to get things done at breakneck speed.
However, technology reviewer Tommy Melville said that the display was the most striking feature of this Toshiba laptop.
"The Qosmio X500's large 18.4-inch screen dominates proceedings," he said. "It boasts a full HD 1,920 x 1,080 pixel resolution and is exceptionally detailed as a result."
However, if you're looking for a Toshiba laptop to carry out everyday computing tasks, the Satellite range may be more suitable.
The Satellite T110 notebook has an 11.6-inch display with a 1,366 x 768 screen resolution.
