Lenovo laptops range bolstered
Lenovo laptops have announced details of new machines that the company will debut at the upcoming Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas.
The new models will be part of the ThinkPad range of Lenovo laptops and will be available in a range of sizes and specifications.
Among the laptops set to be unveiled is the ThinkPad Edge, a compact model powered by the new Windows 7 operating system and a dual-core processor.
The 13.3-inch machine will include wi-fi capabilities and multimedia options including card reader slots and three USB ports.
It will also become one of a growing number of Lenovo laptops with a moulded, spill-resistant keyboard.
Alongside the ThinkPad Edge will be a 14-inch touchscreen model and other new Lenovo laptops including the 11-inch x100e, 14- and 15-inch T410 and T510 and the W510 which carries up to 16GB of DDR3 memory.
All of the new Lenovo laptops go on sale in early 2010.
