Free laptops with mobile broadband are back on the agenda as internet provider Orange seeks to woo a new wave of business and home users.
Along with a raft of free laptops with mobile broadband deals aimed at attracting uptake among households, the provider has also unveiled a new set of business bundles which it hopes will hold interest for small and medium-sized enterprises.
Orange is offering new mobile broadband deals based on two sets of working hours: 9 to 5 and 5 to 9. Both of them offer speeds of up to 7.2Mbps and cost £10 per month over a 24-month contract.
The idea behind providing mobile broadband packages for two sets of working hours was explained by Martin Lyne, Director for Small and Medium Business at Orange: "With Business Everywhere they'll be able to choose the plan that offers them the best value based on when they want to use their mobile broadband."
The company is still focused on offering free laptops with mobile broadband for home users.
