Operators giving out more free laptops than ever as competition for customers grows
The UK mobile broadband market is offering free laptop deals that are better than ever.
Orange, Vodafone and 3 Mobile have shaken up the market this year with some of their most generous free laptop deals to date.
Mobile broadband giant 3 offers a huge 15GB data allowance from as little as £22.50 a month with a free laptop. This can actually work out cheaper than some lesser data allowance options.
Meanwhile, Vodafone currently offers a 3-month payment-free period on their 3GB mobile broadband plan, and while this offer doesn’t include a free laptop, they have slashed prices by £5 a month on their basic free laptop plan. Orange, on the other hand, is enticing new customers by competing with low prices and a limited edition stylish free laptop by Samsung.
Free laptops – what’s on offer?
Comparing mobile broadband deals with free laptops may appear a little overwhelming, but can be surprisingly easy if you know what to look out for.
3 are the front runners when it comes to data allowance (the amount you can download via your connection). They offer five free laptops to choose from, ranging from the basic Acer Aspire 150b netbook, to the top of the range Acer 6920G-583 high performance machine.
Vodafone boast some of the best UK mobile broadband coverage, as well as top connection speeds. Their free laptop is a simple-but-efficient Dell Inspiron Mini 9 for as little as £20 a month.
Orange offers a slightly alternative incentive – an exclusive free laptop. The Samsung N310 Black is available for a limited period on a 1GB, 3GB, or 5GB plan. With a slick gloss screen and rounded pebble-effect edges, this free laptop will have the style-conscious clamouring for it.
