A leading mobile broadband provider has got rid of the fee it charges to people who take out a free laptop with broadband deal, it has been revealed.
O2, whose free laptop with broadband packages are among the most popular on the market, will no longer ask new users to pay an initial set-up cost on its two-year laptop deals.
The mobile broadband specialist is offering two machines as part of its free laptop with broadband deals: the Samsung R519 and the Asus Eee PC 1005H netbook.
Both of these free laptop offerings feature impressive specs, with the latter being a super-portable 10-inch unit running an Intel Atom processor and the former packing 2GB RAM and a 250GB hard drive into its 15.6-inch chassis.
All of O2's free laptop with broadband deals come with unrestricted Wi-Fi Hotspot access and monthly usage allowances of either 3GB or 5GB.
