Dell laptops have stunned the laptop world by unleashing a new machine which at its thinnest point is thinner than a standard CD jewel case.
The latest Dell laptops model, the Dell Adamo XPS, has a thickness of just 9.7mm at its thinnest point, while the chunkiest it gets is just 10.3mm. This means that if you laid the machine on a table next to a CD album, the latter would stand rise higher from the surface – unbelievable.
Dell laptops have achieved this by altering the way in which the Adamo XPS keyboard is designed and integrated.
Whereas previous Dell laptops had full-size keyboards with hinges at the back (and therefore at the bottom of the screen), this new model has a hinge roughly 10cm up from the bottom, meaning the keyboard sits inside an indented screen section when the laptop is closed.
The Dell laptops Adamo XPS is on sale now.
