A new Dell laptop has every base covered, according to an independent computing expert.
Technology correspondent Alex Bentley ran the rule over the Dell Studio 1557 in a comprehensive report for What Laptop.
Among other things, he was keen to praise the "impressive" graphics and build quality of the Dell laptop while the "extremely comfortable" keyboard also got a glowing review.
Priced at £749, the sprightly model is built around an Intel Core i7 central processing unit.
"Performance is staggering," he said. "Multiple applications can run simultaneously with stunning speed and reliability, making this one of the most powerful laptops you can buy at this price."
Last month, the Dell laptop division unveiled details of a new machine aimed squarely at the business community.
The Vostro V13 weighs 1.59kg and is just 16.5mm thick. Nevertheless, it still manages to pack in 4GB of DDR3 SDRAM, Bluetooth capability and WWAN mobile broadband.
