Cheap laptops with innovative features added to manufacturer’s latest range
A trio of new cheap laptops, which aim to appeal to stylish users on a budget, have been added to Lenovo’s IdeaPad series.
The company is introducing cheap laptops in the form of its new S12 model. Next in the range are the ultra-portable U350s, while the G500 high performance laptops complete the line-up.
The S12 series includes cheap laptops that offer features expected from standard laptop computers. They are Lenovo’s first 12-inch device, but they have a full-sized keyboard. The S12s offer up to 6 hours of battery life, a 160GB hard drive and OneKey Rescue, an in-built data and system recovery program.
As well as reliability on the inside, the S12s are cheap laptops that look great on the outside. They are less than 22 millimetres thick and weigh just 1.36kg. The new cheap laptops and the U350 will be launched in July 2009.
Value-for-money laptops compliment cheap laptops
The U350 and G500 may not be in the usual price range of cheap laptops, but their features ensure both are value-for-money devices.
The silver U350 has a range of impressive specifications including a 16:9 aspect ratio high definition 13.3-inch LED panel, and a High Definition Multimedia Interface (HDMI) connector that allows users to view multimedia in unparalleled quality.
The G500 is available in either a silver or glossy slate finish. Among other particulars, it features a DVD burner/player, HDMI port on selected models, Wi-Fi, Ethernet and optional Bluetooth.
