January is traditionally the time of year when shops focus on slashing prices and nowhere is that more true than in the world of cheap laptops.
The cheap laptops market is currently experiencing something of a boom with several manufacturers and retailers slashing prices in a bid to grab some post-Christmas custom.
As well as the traditional online sources of cheap laptops such as ShopLaptop, high street stores are getting in on the act with a slew of their own cheap laptop deals.
Experts say that some of the most popular cheap laptops this January are from Acer and Toshiba, both of whom have had models reduced in price online and off.
The top cheap laptops from the pair include the Acer Aspire 5732Z, Acer Aspire 5332 and the Toshiba L500-19Z, all of which pack 4GB of RAM and come bundled with Windows 7 Home Premium from a number of outlets.
