The cheap laptops range offered by Lenovo looks set to expand as the company adds two new machines to its line-up, pushing the prices of low-end models down even further.
Lenovo's cheap laptops are among some of the most popular on the market, and the news that the manufacturer could reduce the costs of its cheap laptops to make way for its new top of the range models will be welcomed by users.
The machines being introduced to the ThinkPad series are far from being cheap laptops themselves – the X201, X201, W701 and W701ds all retail in the region of £1000 – but their arrival will pave the way for reductions in the lower order of the Lenovo laptops range.
The new ThinkPads may even be available as part of cheap laptops bundles, although there has been no word as yet from mobile broadband providers who could provide subsidised price models.
