Asus and Disney are set to release an affordable, technologically advanced kids laptop that is unrivalled in the marketplace.

The Asus/Disney laptops comes complete with built-in Windows XP Home Edition, and a custom Disney interface that sits over the machine. The Disney interface allows kids to select their own desktop themes, which include Disney icons such as Toy Story, Wall-E, Mickey Mouse and Hannah Montana.

The unit itself comes in a choice of 2 colours – a floral Disney Princess Pink for the girls and Disney’s Mickey Mouse-inspired Magic Blue for the boys – as well as being powered by Asus technology, making it the ideal fun, yet functional kids laptop.

Asus and Disney have also included pre-installed controls to put parents’ minds at ease with regard to this kids laptop. While children can surf the net with built in Wi-Fi, parents can approve email addresses and websites for maximum safety.
