Details have emerged of a couple of new Acer laptops, which may interest fans of the Taiwanese computing giant.
The Acer Aspire 5740 has a 15.6-inch screen with a 1,366 x 768 resolution while the Aspire 7740 plumps for a 17.3-inch display and 1,600 x 900 pixels.
Prospective Acer laptops buyers will find 2GB of RAM on the 5740 and 4GB on the 7740, although this can be expanded to 8GB if necessary.
Even with the standard specifications, the Aspire should prove more than adequate for surfing the net and getting work done on the move.
Both machines also come with 802.11n wi-fi, a HDMI port and an optional Blu-ray drive for watching the latest films.
